Cupping & Massage Therapy

Cupping is a traditional treatment that is favored by millions worldwide due to its safety and effectiveness. The use of suction, rather than compression for bodywork addresses anything from myofascial release to lymphatic drainage.

Cupping releases, loosens, and lifts connective tissues, breaks up and drains stagnation, and increases blood and lymph flow to the skin and muscles.

When the cups move, negative pressure massage engages the parasympathetic nervous system. This allows deep relaxation to move through the entire body. It is not unusual to fall asleep during the treatment and patients are often surprised how relaxed they feel shortly after the treatment.

Cupping addresses traumatic injuries, stubborn and orthopaedic conditions, deep tissue and sports massage, trigger points, lymphatic drainage, abdominal massage, neurological dysfunctions, myofascial release and reflexology. Cupping is beneficial for conditions such as Asthma, Diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety, fatigue, headaches, Fibromyalgia, and Neuralgia.

Cupping is also used for cellulite reduction and this process creates a flow of fresh oxygenated blood rich in natural nutrients. This treatment causes the release of waste and toxins from the fat cells. This breaks and removes the cellulite look and results in smooth and toned skin. When this is done frequently, improve circulation removes sludge leaving the fibrous tissue soft, healthy, and flexible.
